Customer Reviews
Good light, minor shipping delay
I ordered the Ra Adventure Light with a BatPak 2. The light itself is really bright and the wide beam is great for night hiking. It felt a bit heavy on my chest at first, but I got used to it quickly. Shipping took about 8 days to get to me, which was a little longer than I expected, but it arrived well-packaged. The battery life was as advertised. Overall, a solid product, just wish shipping was a touch faster.
My new favorite light!
Oh my goodness, I just got the Adventure Light Kit and it's AMAZING! The Ra light is so bright and makes trail running at night so much fun. It's super comfy and easy to use. I'm telling all my friends about Kogalla, you NEED one of these. I will absolutely be shopping here again, probably for some accessories!
Detailed thoughts on my new Ra
I recently purchased the Single Light System featuring the Ra 2. Ordering was straightforward on their website; I appreciated the clear descriptions and mounting options. Delivery to my address in Colorado took about 6 days, arriving in a sturdy box with all components neatly organized. The Ra 2 itself is impressively bright, living up to the 'wide-angle' claim. I used the Velcro Backing Plate to attach it to my running vest, and it held firm even during a pretty aggressive trail run. The BatPak 1 battery provided ample power for a 3-hour outing on medium setting. Charging the BatPak via the included USB-C cable was quick. I did have a question about optimal diffuser lens use, and customer service responded to my email within 24 hours with a helpful explanation. My only minor suggestion would be to include a small quick-start guide in the box for new users.
Pretty good light
Got myself a Ra Adventure Light with a BatPak 1 for camping. It's really bright, way better than my old headlamp. Super easy to turn on and off. Shipping was fine, took a few days. It works, happy with it.
Great value for the price
As a first-time buyer, I was looking for a good deal. I managed to get the Trail Running Light Set during a holiday sale, which saved me a good chunk of money. Free shipping on orders over $100 was also a plus. The light is definitely powerful, and I felt I got a lot for what I paid. It's a solid investment for my evening runs. Glad I waited for a discount.
Another solid purchase
This is my third purchase from Kogalla. I already had a Ra Adventure Light and decided to get another for a friend, along with a Diffuser Lens for myself. As always, the quality is consistent. The light itself is just as bright and reliable as my original. Shipping was fast this time, got it in 4 days. It's why I keep coming back; their products just work well.

how do these compare to like, a Black Diamond or Petzl headlamp? I've always used those but the body-worn idea sounds interesting.
Does anyone know if Kogalla lights ship pretty fast? Need one for a trip next month to Yosemite.
Thinking of grabbing a Ra light for night trail runs. How long does the battery typically last on high beam?
Are there any current discount codes floating around for Kogalla? Trying to save a few bucks on the dual light system.
